What can I put in the skip?
You cannot use a Skip to dispose of asbestos, fridge/freezers, car batteries, tyres, gas cylinders, paint tins (empty or full), food waste, fluorescent tubes or liquids , Medicines/drugs, Kitchen waste, septic tank waste, Computers, contaminated soil or black bags. Please call a member of staff if you have any further queries.
Please Note : When ordering a skip please ensure that you give us as much information as possible about what sort of waste is going into the skip as this may affect the price.

Who is responsible for the Skip Waste?
You are legally responsible for the contents of the Skip you hire. You need to ensure that the waste disposed in the Skip is suitable for general disposal and that the Skip is not Overloaded.

How full can I load the Skip?
Skips can only be loaded to a maximum of half a foot (6 Inches) over the Skip level. Load's must be secure and safe with no loose items.

What happens if I overload the skip?
An overloaded Skip is a hazard. The lorry may struggle to lift the skip, and your overfilled waste can be dangerous to lift/transport. If your Skip is overloaded, the driver reserves the right to refuse to lift the Skip or advise of an extra charge to be applied. However it is always an option for you to remove the extra waste prior to Skip removal. Meaning that the Skip must be brought back down to a level load (No higher than 6 Inches above the rim).

How long is the hire period of the skip?
1.25 Tonne Skip Bags - Unlimited
Mini 2.5 Cubic Yard Skip – 3 Days
Midi 4 Cubic Yards Skip – 3 Days
Standard 6 Cubic Yard – 5 Days
8 Cubic Yard – 5 Days
14 Cubic Yard - 5 Days
20 Cubic Yard - 7 Days
If you require a skip for longer/shorter period of time please advise when booking, and we will always try our very best to accomadate you.
Please be advised that once placed on a Collections List, Collections can take up to 7 Working Days, depending on how busy we may be at that particular time.
However we always try our very best to have all of our skips collected as soon as possible.

What happens to my Waste?
All Waste is brought back to our own Recycling Facility at Advanced Business Park. Once sorted all Waste taken to its appropiate Waste Recycling Outlet where it is processed to maximise the percentage of material recycled and diverted from landfill.
Our environmental ethics are at the heart of everything we do. We offer smart, simple solutions to meet your recycling needs.

How do I Order a Skip?
You can Order a Skip through our Webiste using our Online Order Form; https://www.m50skiphire.ie/order-a-skip , or by Calling our Office on 01-8620011 and a Member of our Friendly Team will take your Order.

How can I Pay?
We offer two options regarding payment :
Cash to the Driver on Delivery.
Card securely over the Phone to our Office.
All payments must be made either on or prior to Delivery.

Where can I place the Skip?
Most customers prefer to have their Skips placed in their driveways, however if you like we can also drop on the road or on a grass verge.
If dropping in your driveway you must have 9 1/2 ft clearnace for our truck to enter. If you do not have this clearance, Unfortrunately we are unable to drop skips over walls.
Please Note: When dropping skips we must ensure we are not blocking any pedestrian footpaths or access to the road.
If you are living in a Permit Parking Area and are unable to fit your skip into your driveway, you must contact your local council to have a skip permit organised.

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy
All Cancellations for Prepaid Skips must be made by 03:00pm on the Working Day prior to Delivery. Please be advised that if a Cancellation is made outside of this Window, a Cancellation Fee may be applied.

Skip Bags are most suitable for Bulky Rubbish/Junk, Spring Cleans/Household Clearances, D.I.Y. Projects, & Gardening.
**Please Note: Skip Bags are not suitable for Soil/Concrete, Food Waste, Hazardous Materials.**

How do your Skip Bags work?
We supply Skip Bags to all of Dublin - Due to it's size, a Skip Bag is perfect for jobs where space can be an issue.
We have two Skip Bag options available;
1) Delivery & Collection - We deliver a Skip Bag to your required address and collect on a day convenient your you.
2) Collection of a third party Skip Bag - If you have a skip bag from an alternative provider that your wish top have removed, we would be more than happy to remove it for you in a prompt & affordable manner.
Please note that our Skip Bags are strictly prohibbited of domestic black bag waste and hazardous materials.
