• Be 100% compliant with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain Vehicle to its agreed standards.
• Courteous manner when dealing with Customers.
• Communicate effectively with Staff (Helpers & Transport).
• Maintain Documentation as required.
• Carry out assigned Work on a Daily Basis.

Requirements:

• Route knowledge of Dublin.
• Customer Service.
• Clean attendance & timekeeping.
• Productivity.
• Fluent English.

Qualifications:

• Full Clean Truck Licence.
• Up to Date CPC. (All up-to-date Modules)
• Driver Experience required.

Wheelie Bin / Refuse Truck Helper

Job Summary:

The Helper assists Driver in providing a prompt and courteous waste removal service for Commercial Customers on designated route. Daily outdoor work will involve lifting, lifting waist high, gripping with hands, moving at a brisk pace and occasional bending.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Climb onto and off of the truck to load refuse bins along the route. 
• Collecting and emptying bins onto the Truck.
• Returning Bins to the Commercial premises.
• Operate various levers/handles to activate lifting/loading mechanism.
• Working alongside the Driver and Colleagues to provide an excellent service.
• Assist Driver in safely backing up the truck by directing the Driver from the ground.

Able to work in a fast paced, team environment. Be able to work outdoors in all types of weather. Be able to follow safe operating practices. Be able to learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service. Excellent timekeeper, reliable with good references.
