When ordering the skip please ensure that you give us as much information as possible about what sort of waste is going into the skip as this may affect the price.

You are legally responsible for the contents of the skip you hire. You need to ensure that the waste disposed in the skip is suitable for general disposal and that the skip is not overloaded.

You can load up to a maximum of one foot over the skip level but the load must be secure and safe with no loose items.

An overloaded skip is a hazard. The lorry may struggle to lift the skip, and your overfilled waste can be dangerous to lift/transport. If your skip is overloaded, the skip lorry driver reserves the right to refuse to lift the skip or advise of an extra charge to be applied before the skip is lifted. However it is always an option for you to remove the extra waste prior to skip removal.

– Lack of Space for a skip.

– Less labour for yourself.

– Efficient & Quick.

How much can a grab truck carry?   Our Grab Trucks can Carry up to 17 tonnes on the road. In volume this equates to 20 cubic yards of waste.

We need 3.5 metres entrance space.

The minimum headroom needed for a grab truck to pass under is 3.8 metres; However we will require at least an additional 2 metres to operate the crane.

We cannot dispose of following types of waste:

• Asbestos

• Car Batteries

• Car Tyres

• Gas Bottles

• Hazardous Chemicals

• Paint

• Oil

All our vehicles are now fitted with a double extension cranes, which have a maximum reach of 8 metres.

Yes they can, as long as the driver is able to pull the vehicle up close alongside the fence or wall and he is able to directly see the material to be loaded from the control platform behind the cab.

Provided that the waste material is heaped up in a single easily accessible pile, our drivers should be able to load the vehicle in about 15-30 minutes.

Before you choose a spot to heap up the waste material, be sure to check that there are no low overhanging tree branches or cables as these will prevent the driver from being able to load. In addition to this make sure that the driver is able to pull the vehicle directly alongside the material.

We recommend that you give us 48 hours notice if you require a specific collection or delivery time. However we can sometimes still accommodate a booking made on the same day.
